This is from TV Series "Smash", and so far one of my favorite songs!
There are lots great songs coming from the show, and I love them and will keep following it. Furthermore this show is a way to tell me more about Marilyn Monroe who in fact I rarely know about!

BTW, I like Will Chase's voice, how he sounds in this song is perfect!

I See the Light by Mandy Moore & Zachary Levi

Pascal (Chameleon) is so cute!!!
And the interaction between Flynn and Maximus is so funny!

Through The Fire by Reneé Olstead

I love Reneé's version of this song!! Adding a little of jazz element, sensational, softness and drowsiness of her voice makes this song totally different than the original one sung by Chaka Khan, and this is the exact reason I'm falling in love with this version of "Through The Fire"!! I have goosebumps every time I hear this song!

Can you believe that when she performed this song, she's only 18!
She's so talented and amazing!
Highly recommended!!

You've Gotta Love This Guy~ Brian Culbertson!

I've been Brian Culbertson's fan since 2004 when I first got in touch with his personal 8th album "It's On Tonight".

This album really grabs my heart, and let me fall in love with his music and smooth jazz~ (Thanks to that!)
If you haven't really heard of him and his music, try google it! And if you really "listen", you'll never regret it!

真可惜他是gay!! (嘆~ 似乎美麗臉蛋的男生...很有可能是xxx)

p.s. Adam Lambert是American Idol Season 8 (Year 2009)的亞軍!

如果有常聽西洋流行音樂的人, 應該對Rihanna的Don't Stop the Music不陌生!

但今天我偶然在youtube上找到Jamie Cullum的版本....驚為天人!
(這樣說或許太過誇張...但足以描述我對這版本的喜好程度了!)
完全不同調調的曲風...重新編曲後再以Jamie Cullum一貫的頑童似的唱歌方式詮釋了這首原本你所知道的一般舞曲!
Jamie把它變成Jazz加點Pop...配上Jamie不是太放的獨特嗓音...
唱出那種和在Pub所認識的女生...隨著舞曲, 越是靠近越產生致命吸引力而不想音樂停止的情感!

Jazz版本就是不同於Pop這麼直接了當!

At Last by Etta James

Just finished watching Medium Season 6...
Seeing Mr. & Mrs. Lee Scanlon dance along with this song "At Last", it's so ramantic!
And I decided to find out who the original singer is and some videos.

The original singer is Etta James, born in 1938, won 4 Grammys and 17 Blues Music Awards. What a record and incredible achivement she got.

I get goosebumps whenever I hear this song "At Last"!

Jekyll & Hyde 變身怪醫

上週六去台北國家戲劇院看了Jekyll & Hyde~
去之前完全對此劇一無所知~
看完我超愛的~ 裡面的曲目我每首都喜歡~
回到家超想立刻擁有~ 然後一直重複聽!

但回家google發現~ 目前有出CD的還是只有1997年的Jekyll & Hyde by Original Broadway Cast Recording
但我好喜歡Brad Little的版本喔~
他的聲音好迷人~ 不知會不會有他版本的CD呢?!

這次的演唱會將在南港展覽館舉辦~ 日期剛好遇上端午節的假期~

I first heard this song is from Diana Krall's album "When I Look in Your Eyes"~
At that time, I didn't really listen to the lyrics...until recently~

Till the day before, I heard another version of this song...
It's sung by Sophie Milman, and the melody is re-arranged and gets naughtier!!
I like this version of "I Can't Give You Anything But Love"~
It's just like an announcement to loved one, and even to others, to tell them, you're mine!!
I've got what you long for~

I wanna share this wonderful song!!!
The first video is the official music video, and BTW, the beauty in this official video is now Michael's girlfriend. (*envy*)
And the second video is his promo video; however, though it's not so dramatic like the first one, somehow I like the style, only Michael and all his moves, getting all the spotlight and that makes him more charming than ever.

Jazzy Night~

上禮拜六...本來會是宅在家的一天~
晚餐時間接到W的來電~ 說中正紀念堂兩廳院中間廣場有個Jazz Party...
因為Jazz想到我有涉獵...來問我有沒有興趣去聽~
當我接到電話其實是充滿驚喜的~ 因為很久沒接到W的來電嚕~
當下想了一下...就馬上衝去作出門的準備了~
因為在家閒著也是閒著...且難得接收到這種活動的訊息(感謝W囉)...就要把握機會啊~
碰巧出門時弟弟也要出門...就搭了便車啦~ 省下我搭公車轉捷運一趟~ 呵!

出門前google了一下...原來這次是兩廳院首次舉辦戶外免費演出...
但這個夏日爵士派對今年已是第七屆嚕~ 頗負盛名~
(這個我倒是都不知道~ 以後要多注意這類訊息~ :p)
